The 2D high resolution (HR) site surveys are carried out from the dedicated survey vessels the AG Surveyors (formerly known as the Tridens 1) and the Volans. Hydrographic surveys are undertaken using the same dedicated survey vessels or from vessels of opportunity to chart the seafloor and used for navigation for engineering and design purposes. A comprehensive array of survey sensors can be deployed depending on clients requirement and the nature of work.

The AG Surveyor is a BV-classed and Dutch-built survey vessel that has been re-flagged to Malaysia to undertake contract works mainly with Petronas Carigali and other local PSC contractors. The 61m long ocean going survey vessel is installed with a full complement SEAMUX 2D HR solid digital streamer survey package. The vessel has a hull-mounted medium depth Kongsberg Maritime, Norway, EM 710 high resolution multi-beam echo sounder and is capable of carrying out geophysical surveys in 1,500m water depth. The system is a 1x1 degree version with full FM pulse and dual swath capability. The AG Surveyor is equipped with a V-Sat communication system for internet access and fast data transfer to shore base.

The Volans is a 50-metre dedicated survey vessel refitted to provide an efficient and cost effective 24-hour survey platform to meet the ever increasing demand for marine surveys in Malaysia and the region. The 2D HR Digital Seismic equipment on-board this vessel include a 96 Channel Prakhla Streamer, TL3 Seismic Acquisition System, 2000psi Compressor, Sleeve Gun and Promax QC & Processing System which will facilitate onboard processing. The range of the analogue survey equipment includes a Geoaccoustic Side Scan Sonar System, Massa 4 x 4 (Hull Mounted) Pinger, CODA DA2000 Recording System, SeaSpy Marine Magnetometer, Geo-Spark Sparker System. The hydrographical equipment available as a standard package onboard the vessel includes a Single Beam Echo-Sounder, Valeport Midas (CTD), Multi Beam Echo-Sounder (Reson 8101) and Heave Compensator.
